It is important that the children are aware of them and that they understand they must treat the different religions with respect.
Through this subject the children can learn about different religions and their traditions, practices and beliefs, and to make connections between religious and non-religious beliefs, concepts, practices and ideas studied.
Religious Education aims to develop knowledge, understanding, skills, attitudes and values to enable young people to come to an understanding of religion and its relevance to life, relationships, society and the wider world.
